DISASTER RISK REDUCTION & FIRST AID ORIENTATION TRAINING PROGRAMME – 13/01/2024
On 13.01.2024, a training programme on Disaster Management and First Aid was held at Arunachalam Higher Secondary School under the leadership of Shri B. Jerin, First Aid Sub-Committee Chairman. Rtn. Dr. N. S. Kumaradhas, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, K.K.Dist.Branch was the chief guest on the occasion and he delivered an awareness talk on importance of First Aid. Mr. A. Suresh Kumar, Chairman of the Disaster Management Sub-Committee, provided training on First Aid and disaster management. The program was attended by Mr. Burobilton Sasi, Mrs. S. S. Bindhu, Principal, Arunachalam Higher Secondary School, Mr. Prince,Red Cross Life Member, school teachers, and students.
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION & FIRST AID ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (JRC COUNSSELORS / THUCKALAY EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT) – 18/01/2024
On 18.01.2024, a one-day training camp on Disaster Management and First Aid for JRC Councilors was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School, Thuckalay, under the leadership of Rtn. Dr. N.S. Kumaradhas, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Kanniyakumari District Branch. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K. Balathandayuthapani, Chief Educational Officer, Kanniyakumari District. Dr. S.R. Srinivasa Kannan, Member of the National Executive Committee of the Red Cross Society, was the chief guest and he delivered the keynote address.
District Education Officer Shri. Mari Muthu offered felicitations. Mr.A.Suresh provided training on Disaster Management and Dr. Alan James conducted First Aid Traininig with Demo Classes. Red Cros Managing Committee Members Lion S.Jayahar, Rtn.P.Shivakumar, Prof.Rtn.Dr.Sajeev, Rtn.S.Elango, Adv.R.Pravin, Adv.S.I.Abinaya, Rtn.N.Subhanandaraj, Dr.T.Jayanthi, Rtn. C.Ramesh Kumar, Treasurer, IRCS, KK. Dist.Branch, Mr.J.Johnson, Headmaster, Govt.High.Sec.School, Thuckalay. Mr.P.Anbhazhahan, JRC Convenor, JRC Councilors, Teachers and Students participated and gained valuable knowledge from the training Sessions.

On 19.01.2024, a one-day Disaster Management and First Aid training camp for JRC Councillors was held at the Nagercoil Dathi Women’s Higher Secondary School,Nagercoil. Rtn. Dr. N.S. Kumaradhas, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Kanniyakumari District Bran2ch presided over the programme. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. K. Balathandayuthapani, Chief Educational Officer of Kanniyakumari District, who delivered an inaugural address. Dr. S. R. Srinivasa Kannan, Member of the National Executive Committee of the Indian Red Cross Society, was the special guest and delivered the keynote address. Mr. R. Mohan, District Education Officer of Nagercoil, offered felicitations.

Rtn.P.Sivakumar, Mr.G.Kishor, Prof.Rtn.C.Sajeev, Rtn.S.Elango, Dr.T.Jayanthi, Mr.Prema Raj,Junior Red Cross Convenor, Nagercoil Educational District, Mrs.E.Hepsibai, Headmistress, Duthie School, Nagercoil, Junior Red Cross Councilors of Nagercoil Educational District also participated in this Training Programme
